Tampa Night Flight / Phantom 3 Drone

Watch the video below
This is one of the best sunset shots you will see of Downtown Tampa and the surrounding area. It was shot by a cab driver...Tony Cowen #309 with his new Phantom 3 Drone which has 4k resolution. You get a clear view of Downtown and the University of Tampa as the sun sets. You also get an awesome horizon shot as the sun is now under the horizon. Lets see and Uber driver match this.

My workouts are paying off

Getting into shape
For years on Facebook and YouTube, I was called "Fatsano" because I was overweight. I really did get tired of hearing it. So, for the last year I have been doing weights and cardio 3 days a week, and swimming two miles 3 days a week. It is working for the good. To my haters..What's my ass taste like now!?

Victor Crist is a fool

There really is no other word for it. The article in today's Tampa Tribune says Victor Crist is close to a deal with Uber on issues of background checks and insurance. If this goes the way he says it is going, than Uber and Lyft will be legal in Hillsborough County. What Victor Crist does not realize is that the ride share companies are jerking him off. It feels good too him but he is not getting anywhere.

I have attended many meetings of the HCPTC County Commission for years where Victor Crist will claim progress is being made. He will say he is working with the lawyers and representatives of Uber and they are oh so close. Months go by and he says we are getting close. Years go by and Crist says we are getting close. Does he not realize they he is being played for a fool. In the meantime. All of our taxi business goes away to these illegal operators because this asshole won't put the hammer down.

Mr. Crist, just enforce the law and stop trying to accommodate these massive gypsy cab operations. No more excuses. Do it today or just close down the HCPTC for it is useless.

Uber would not have subjected Ted Bundy to a level 2 background check (FBI computer)

There is only one reason Uber will not agree to level 2 background checks. They want as many drivers as possible and do not care that a Ted Bundy would be driving them. If you are a women, does this make you feel safe?  Keep in mind that Bundy always used a vehicle to pull his victims into. Ride Share would have been a perfect opportunity for him.
I would have passed Uber's background check

Training Long Course

I am blessed to be a member of a Long Course Pool. The Bobby Hicks staff is very friendly and cooperative. The meet I have entered is in June in Sarasota. I hope to be ready for the famous keg party after Saturday's festivities

PTC ticketing Uber and Lyft drivers

The HCPTC got tired of waiting for the Florida Legislature to do something about the rules of ride share. Now, they are taking matters into their own hands. They are detaining and writing tickets of $700 to the illegal drivers. Next, they will begin impounding vehicles. This should be expected.

When you have no charters, licenses, insurance, you are as bogus as the day is long. Could you open a bar without a liquor license? Could you open a radio station without an FCC license? Could you open a barber shop without the proper permits? No to all the above. So why does Uber think they can get around the law by just existing and ignoring all the rules and regulations that everyone else has to play by?

Taxi man shoots nude photo from a hotel suite

It's good being me
My favorite troll seems to have a problem with old photos. Like they don't have merit or something. Since I get better looking every day (that is why I can't wait 'till tomorrow), I have lots of old photos to let me know what it was like when things were not so good. Check out this image from 2007.

My favorite troll may have a photo of his dick, but I am sure he has nothing like this. It is kind of fun being the world's most famous cab driver. Unlike those Uber drivers who enjoy little and suffer little, because they live in a grey twilight that knows neither victory or defeat.

Florida Uber driver arrested in child sex sting

It seems the Uber driver and his friends were looking for boys between 12-16 years of age. They wanted to have sex with them. They wanted to fuck them in the ass. Click your app for an Uber and get FUCKED IN THE ASS. Yes folks, you can feel safe riding with Uber. Just bring lube.

Did you ever get a ride from this Uber pervert?

Taxi man has been very sick

Sorry, but I have been very sick and have had no energy to even turn the computer on. Today was the first day I put in a full days work, and even did a swimming workout. I am finally on the rebound. I feel much better now.

Donald Trump explains to Congress how to make an economic recovery happen

People who watch this seem to be impressed with Trump's clarity of thought and his deep knowledge of economic principles. Something that has not always come out on the campaign trail

I've been very sick

Look at my left eye
Monday afternoon I came home and fell into bed with high fever and chills. I did not get up until this morning. I am feeling better and I did work today. Look at this photo and you will get some idea of how I felt. It must have been the cold weather over the weekend at the swim meet.

Tired but Happy

I worked hard for this
It was freezing cold this morning at the North Shore Pool as the sun came up over the SPM Masters swim meet. The wind was blowing which gave warming up swimmers a bone chill as they exited the pool. Everyone had on overcoats. You can't do much about the weather. I was eager to swim my races because the pool was the warmest spot around.

It was cold man and this is an overcoat
I just got home and I am very tired. Sprinting all out has done me in. Don't worry, I am very happy. I would not have missed this experience for the world. People talk about "bucket list" nowadays. Those thing usually involve travel. How about an athletic event. You can't buy a ticket to get there. You have to put in the work.

A view from behind the starting blocks
You can see the ribbons I earned. AND I EARNED THEM! Nobody can take this away from me.

There is a Long Course meet in June in Sarasota. I have already started training for that one. See ya' there.

The courage to try

Moments after my swim under the lights
I did it! I swam in the longest running United States Masters Swimming meet in America (47 years) in St. Petersburg today. After training for 11 months, it was time to do it "for real." This photo is me after I took third place in my age group (55-59) in the 200 yard freestyle. Let me give you the back story.

A year ago I was in the emergency room with dangerously high blood pressure. The medicine was not working. I felt awful and did not know what to do. There is a lot left to do in life and I was not ready to check out yet. The doctor said it was up to me now and he recommended a change of diet and aerobic exercise. There were no more new fangled pharmacological that could save me - it was up to me.

You can see how dark the skies are getting
The great tennis player Jimmy Connors was once asked what was the best exercise. He said it was the one you will do. Swimming is the one thing that I will do. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said about swimming...1) you can wear a speedo 2) Get a tan 3) Everyone is almost naked! That's the one I like.

I was off to the pool.

Problem. I could barely finish one 25 yard lap. The early days were really a struggle. I was soon able to swim a straight 500 yards and do about a mile total in my workouts. I was really making progress and my health was improving. In fact, my blood work now is fantastic and I have been off gout medicine for a year with no flare ups. How cool is that!

Today, I did the perfect swim. I negative split each 50 in the 200 yard freestyle race (each 50 faster then the one before) and sprinted the final lap home. I looked up and my team (SPM) was cheering for me. I looked up on the jumbo scoreboard where I could see my lane with time and splits. I felt like I had just swam in the Olympic finals! In reality, I had.

The St. Pete Masters hanging out in our area by the warm up sectioon
My Olympics was to change my lifestyle and focus on health. I set this goal and I accomplished it. I did it on my own and nobody can take this away from me. That is BADASS!!

There was a storm coming and the meet had to be postponed for Sunday. In fact, I was on the blocks for the 100 breaststroke ready to race and they stopped the meet. I'm glad they did for I was in the wrong damn lane and would have been disqualified! Good. I will swim it tomorrow.

Tampa Taxi Shots on ABC Action News

I had fun working with Nicole of ABC Action News Tampa
I was interviewed by Nicole of Tampa Bay 28 Action News today at Tampa International airport. It was about the suspicious package found the other day. I took her to the staging deck where the cabs are located ready to be called down to pick up a fare. This is where I was located when I went to use the men's room, and found the package.

She shot lots of B roll to chop up and use in the news story tonight. In the old days, she would have had a camera person with her but I guess tv news operates on a tight budget today like everyone. I was impressed by her professionalism and commitment to get the story accurate.

She had contacted the people in charge at the airport, for their side of the story and was going to interview them as well. It seems it was just discarded luggage. That should not make anyone feel any better about all of this. The ability to report suspicious behavior is not in place. 911 seems to be your best option. Considering what is going on today, I would like to see the airport crawling with security personal.
